    Ship Arrival Time & Disembark Time

    The estimated arrival time (ETA) of the ship docking and passenger disembark times will differ.
    Disembarkation is staggered and normally begins at approximately 30 minutes after the ships arrival in port.
    So the cruise may dock at 07:00 AM but your group may not be let off until 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM.
    To avoid overtime and waiting charges for the bus, please ensure that your return pickup time is at least 3hrs after docking time.
    Please check with the cruise operator or travel agent regarding your arrival time on the return to Sydney or Newcastle.
    During your cruise you will be asked to complete a disembarkation questionnaire with your post cruise travel arrangements so you can be allocated a disembarkation group and time. You will be advised of your allocated time to disembark the day before arrival. Disembarkation is normally completed within three (3) hours of the ships arrival, however, this can vary. For this reason, if you have post cruise flights, we recommend your flight departs no earlier than five (5) hours after your cruise is scheduled to arrive in port.


    Statement from P&O regarding disembarking:

    Departing from the Ship
    If you are departing the arrival city after the day you leave the ship, or if you have made your own flight arrangements, you are required to make your own way to the airport.
    Please be advised that disembarkation may take up to four hours after the scheduled arrival of the ship as we have hundreds of passengers to disembark and clear through Immigration and Customs.

    Passengers Departing from the Ship Independently
    After collecting your luggage and clearing Customs and quarantine, you will be directed to the exit doors.
    If you have a charter bus company meeting you at the wharf, please be advised that disembarkation may take up to four hours after the scheduled arrival of the ship in order to clear Immigration and Customs.


    Excess baggage is more than 2 pieces of luggage (1 x large suitcase & 1 x hand luggage).
    If you have any oversize items or excess baggage then we need to know.
    E.g. musical instruments, prams, surfboards etc.
    Please choose "Yes" if you have excess luggage.

    Excess baggage may require a vehicle upgrade which is an upgrade cost. Please describe the extra luggage so we can determine if the vehicle quoted on is suitable.

    IMPORTANT *Please Note*
    There is NO ALCOHOL consumption allowed at any time during this service.
    There is no food or hot/cold drinks allowed to be consumed in any vehicle at any time.
    These rules are NSW Transport laws.
    Bottled water is OK.
    If you are booking on behalf of someone else, another group or business then you should make sure they know the terms to avoid any problems on the day.
    Please do not ask the driver if you can consume alcohol as refusal may offend.
    All changes to the booking MUST be requested and approved through the office in writing via email.
    Please do not ask the driver for additional services or changes to the itinerary as they do not have authority to make such changes.
